Now they are here! The stars from Herrnhuter Sterne. Herrnhutstjärnan is truly the star of poinsettias! Craftsmanship from Herrnhut in Germany since 1885. Manufacturing began in a religious community where the children made the 25-pointed stars in math lessons. It then became a tradition to make them for Advent and hang them in the window. The tradition also spread to Sweden. The Herrnhuter star looks the same today as it did then.
Mini stars
The mini stars are 13cm and made of plastic. They are fully assembled. The mini stars are sold without a power supply, so remember to buy another one. Up to 4 mini stars can be connected to a power supply. The mini stars are available in yellow, white, red and this year's special, silver.
Paper stars
The paper stars are available in three colours; white, yellow and red and four sizes; 40cm, 60cm, 70cm, 80cm. The Herrnhuter star comes in a package and requires assembly. It's a bit of a chore but not too difficult. It takes a little patience and dexterity, but you can do it :) Cord not included. You can buy more if you don't have one at home.
