VAER is an upcycling brand from Copenhagen that was founded in 2019. Behind the brand are Linda and Emma, who are experts in sustainable design. VAER gives new life to discarded textiles by turning cleaned jeans, work clothes and tablecloths into recycled and vegan sneakers. At VAER, they believe in making sneakers that are as durable as possible throughout their life cycle, therefore they also recycle old VAER sneakers into new soles after use. VAER's sneakers are produced in a family-owned factory in Portugal.
